This month, Los Alamos National Laboratory celebrates its 80th anniversary! To honor the occasion, the April edition of the Periodic Table will feature historian Madeline Whitacre from the Lab's National Security Research Center. She’ll discuss facts, photos and stories from the Lab’s origins.

The Periodic Table is the Bradbury’s casual, ask-me-anything program. Gather with other science enthusiasts and talk with a special guest Labbie about their unique work.

About the speaker: Madeline Whitacre is a historian with Los Alamos National Laboratory’s National Security Research Center. She has been with the Lab since 2017. She has a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of New Mexico and a master’s degree in museum studies from Syracuse University.
