We’re back in person this year with lots of spooky science fun!
October 5, 2022
Friday, Oct. 28
Bradbury Science Museum
1350 Central Avenue, Los Alamos, NM
4-6 p.m.
It’s that time of year again in New Mexico, when the summer heat finally gives way to fall’s cool mornings and chilly nights; when hot air balloon sightings are commonplace along the Rio Grande; and when the smell of roasting green chile lingers around local farmers’ markets. In Los Alamos, it’s also when ghouls and goblins of all ages get ready to take to the streets for the sweets and shenanigans at the town’s annual Trick-or-Treat on MainStreet celebration.
The annual fall celebration is one of the Los Alamos’ most popular events and includes Halloween-themed parades and contests, haunted houses, live music and dance performances, and tons of trick-or-treating, courtesy of local businesses.
This year, the Bradbury celebrates its return to sharing spooky science in person as part of Trick-or-Treat on MainStreet. Please join us Friday, Oct. 28, from 4 to 6 p.m., for some familiar crowd favorites and some new, exciting, possibly messy, live demonstrations by museum staff and Lab researchers.
