Visitors can see items like a Graflex speed graphic camera used to photograph the test, welding goggles worn to protect the test observers’ eyes, and a lead brick found near Ground Zero and warped by the explosion.

The White Rock Visitor Center is fantastic source for information about Los Alamos County. Stop by to see this temporary historic installation and for tips on local destinations, the region’s rich past and outdoor activities.
