“Lab-on-wheels” rises to the challenge with community STEM education
August 1, 2022
It’s a hit! Challenge Tomorrow — the Bradbury Science Museum’s traveling STEM experience — had a successful public premiere at Los Alamos ScienceFest’s Discovery Day on July 16. In an energetic and excited atmosphere, visitors of all ages experienced hands-on activities demonstrating the different types of science happening at the Lab.
Challenge Ambassadors from the Lab, wearing distinct purple shirts, were on hand to help curious visitors make discoveries of their own in the Mission Ops- and Discovery-themed trailers. Labbies enjoyed the opportunity to show their families what they do at work.
In September, Challenge Tomorrow will be traveling to Okhay Owingeh to share the “Lab-on-wheels” experience with Pueblo students. Stay tuned for future events!
