Machine Learning: Supervised- or un-supervised learning methods to automatically detect useful geologic features from various geophysical measurements (seismic, hydraulic and remotely sensed imagery). Computational Methods: Advanced computational methods for efficiently solving large-scale optimization problems: numerical linear algebra, dimensionality reduction, sparse representation, and parameter estimation. Signal and Image Analysis: Signal (or Image) understanding/enhancement/superresolution, and learning-based information retrieval. Inverse Analysis: Acoustic- & Elastic- seismic waveform/travel-time tomography, least-squares reverse-time seismic migration/imaging, and hydraulic inverse modeling, and medical imaging. High-Performance Computing: GPU-based multi-cores programming, parallel computing with MPI. Programming Languages: Proficiency: Python, FORTRAN, C/C++, CUDA, CUBLAS, MATLAB Experience: MPI, OpenMPI, OpenCV, OpenGL, CBLAS, LAPACK
