In-person and Online events

July 24 - 26: Taos Writers Conference
Calling all writers! Come to Taos (virtually) for a weekend of lectures, workshops, roundtables  and day-long intensives with a talented group of faculty. Hosted by SOMOS, the event also includes an evening of faculty readings  and a virtual bookshop.

July 25, 30: Food Depot food distributions
Free drive-through food distributions: July 25 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Santa Fe Place (4250 Cerrillos Rd. - enter from Zafarano Rd.), July 30 at The Food Depot (1222 Siler Road, Santa Fe) from 6  to 9 a.m. 

July 27 - August 7: STEM Santa Fe virtual camps
All summer, Laboratory nonprofit partner STEM Santa Fe has been hosting virtual camps for Northern New Mexico students (most with extra hands-on activities supported by materials provided by the organization). The sixth in the series (DNA Detectives) begins on July 27. More information is available here

July 28: Marketing workshop
This free workshop from WESST teaches small businesses how to write creative copy for marketing, showing you how to convey a clear and concise message and engage your desired target audience to take action.

Cerrillos Hills and Hyde Memorial State Parks
Cerrillos Hills State Park and Hyde Memorial State Park, along with many other state parks, have reopened for limited day use from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (daily for Cerrillos Hills, Thursday to Sunday for Hyde Memorial), with social distancing requirements in place. Visitor centers in both parks remain closed.
