June is a month of music in Northern New Mexico, including the Music on the Hill series at St John’s College in Santa Fe.

Taos shopping streets keep their doors open late August 2.

July 17: Small Business Finance Fair
FUNDIT, a New Mexico Economic Development Department program which connects funding entities with local, community development projects, is hosting its first Small Business Finance Fair in Taos. The event is free, but registration is required, and its aim is to help business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs connect to lenders and other business resource experts. 

July 19-20: Art Show and Lowrider Day
Head to the Española Plaza for two free events, with an art show on Friday evening, and a lowrider parade and show on Saturday afternoon and evening.

July 19-21: Western Youth and Women’s National Trials Competition
Sipapu Ski and Summer Resort is the destination to watch the amazing skill of trials motorbike riders. Better yet, volunteer to help at the event!

July 26-27: Comedy of Errors
Youth theater group the Upstart Crows perform Shakespeare’s hilarious early comedy in the beautiful outdoor setting at the Santa Fe Botanical Garden.

August 2:  Taos First Friday
Taos opens its doors with pop-up artist booths, street performers, and music and stores opening late in the historic shopping district around the Plaza, Bent Street and John Dunn Way. 

August 8: Subcontractor Forum
If your business works in the construction industry and would like to learn more about subcontracting opportunities at the Laboratory, mark you calendars (and register) for the inaugural subcontractor forum to be held at Buffalo Thunder.
