Every Tuesday at noon, bring your lunch to Project Y watch a TED talk, and discuss. See each week's topic here.

April 12-14: Coro de Cámara concerts

With concerts in Santa Fe, White Rock and Los Alamos, Northern New Mexico’s choral group Coro de Cámara bring the music of Mozart, Craig Courtney and Bob Chilcott to their spring season.

April 13: Great American Cleanup, Española

Come out bright and early in Española to join in a community cleanup led by the Municipal Court Community Outreach Program. The Chamber of Commerce is providing a free thank-you meal when the cleanup is done.

April 13: Scientists in the Spotlight

Spend some time at the Bradbury Science Museum in Los Alamos, learning about the metric system and how experimental variables can be used to improve science. You can also make and fly your own paper helicopter.

April 15: Deadline for applications for Summer Physics Camp

Los Alamos National Laboratory, New Mexico Consortium and Pojoaque Valley High School are hosting a free two-week Summer Physics Camp for Young Women, June 10-21. The closing date to apply is April 15, and there are more details here.

April 15: Science on Tap

Come to UnQuarked for an informal conversation with Laboratory researcher Sven Vogel about the Ram's Horn wire gold specimen and the Lab's impressive materials analysis tools.

April 18: Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce Business Expo and Job Fair

For business connections, advice and job opportunities, not to mention prize drawings and entertainment, the free Expo at the Santa Fe Community Convention Center is the place to be on April 18.

April 18: McNeal's Marvelous Medicine Show

Be taken back in time at the Santa Fe Trail Interpretive Center in Las Vegas. Actress and historian Diana Enright recreates a 19th-century medicine show, which were more entertainment and advertising than medical care.

April 18-22: Taos Environmental Film Festival

Celebrating its fifth season, the festival at the Taos Center for the Arts presents 22 award-winning films that explore natural ecosystems and their complex beauty, and the forces threatening to damage them.

April 20: Trail Workday

Prepare for Earth Day by joining the Pajarito Environmental Education Center (PEEC) and Los Alamos County for a morning of trail maintenance and improvement.
