Student Housing

Los Alamos National Laboratory has teamed up with internhousing.com to provide students with a special self-help resource to assist in their search for temporary housing.

For students

In order to search for housing using the internhousing.com platform, first create a profile indicating your tastes and preferences. In order to create a profile, you will need a temporary access password.

If you would like to take advantage of this housing resource, request an access password at: student-housing@lanl.gov

For property owners and managers

Have a house, apartment, or room available to rent? Employees and others can list housing for summer students using the internhousing.com web-based platform. This tool allows property owners and managers to list their available units for free.

Once vacancies are posted, access to the site is password protected allowing only Los Alamos National Laboratory student interns to see the listings. Property owners can access and deactivate their listings at any time.

Living in Los Alamos

Los Alamos, New Mexico is a community with a population of about 18,000. It sits on the Pajarito Plateau in Northern New Mexico between the city of White Rock and the Valles Caldera National Preserve.

Lab employees who live in Los Alamos enjoy a 10-15 minute commute to work, access to outdoor recreation, and a welcoming small town feel.
