Dependent Caregiver Employee Resource Group

The Dependent Caregiver Employee Resource Group seeks to provide a supportive and welcoming environment by providing information, advocacy and resources for dependent caregivers.

What we do

We strive to promote and sustain an inclusive culture in which caregivers are treated with parity and are encouraged to seek a work-life balance that accommodates career goals alongside family and home needs, advocates and offers support for all types of dependent caregivers at LANL, and maintain an FAQ page covering many of the most commonly asked questions by various types of caregivers at LANL. 

Membership

Membership is open to all who wish to help identify and address issues faced by dependent caregivers; members need not be dependent caregivers themselves. The ERG encourages membership from all kinds of dependent caregivers such as biological parents, adoptive parents, foster parents, stepparents, legal guardians, caregivers of adults who need special care, and caregivers of the elderly. 

Meeting Times

We usually meet on the last Monday of every month (unless it's a holiday) from 12 - 1 p.m.
