8/01/2016: We are two lovely ladies plus an adorable dog looking to rent our third bedroom starting September 1st in a 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom quad, located on Alabama Avenue above Conoco Hill. Rent is $875/month not including utilities/wifi, which usually adds about $150/month, to be split three ways. The third bedroom is unfurnished but the rest of the house is, including kitchenware, stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, and washer and dryer. The unit gets a lot of sunlight, has hardwood floors, and a small yard in a neighborhood with easy trail and Atomic City transit access. We are willing to accept new pets, provided they get along with the current dog. We're ideally seeking a social, clean, and respectful roommate, male or female, who enjoys cooking and getting outside like we do, but not required! 7/19/2016: Two rooms in a large 3-bedroom 1350-ft² apartment for rent. One room is currently occupied by a Postdoc working at the Lab. The other 2 bedrooms will be available September 1, 2016, maybe sooner. Each bedroom has a queen bed, chairs, desk, and closet. Apartment includes a kitchen, dining room, bathroom, and living room. Kitchen has a fridge, gas stove, microwave, washer, dryer, and kitchenware. Living room has a sofa and lots of space (for bicycles, etc.). Besides the three closets in the bedrooms, there are three more closets and just lots of storage space. No lease. Rental contract is month-by-month: $400/month for the larger bedroom, $350 for the smaller one. Deposit is half a month’s rent. Utilities (about $60 /month for the whole apartment) are paid by the tenants. The heating and water are paid by the landlord, who does NOT live with the tenants. The town golf course is basically a big extension of the back yard, and the ski hill is about 5 miles away. About 1.5 miles to the Lab. Good to have a car, but this location has nearby bus stops served by three bus routes; the buses are free. Non-smoking property; no dogs allowed here. 7/18/2016:  THIS BEAUTIFUL RANCHITO AND ITS FURNISHED CASITAS are situated on the Chama River in the village of Medanales, about 45 minutes from Santa Fe and Los Alamos, one hour from Taos, and two hours from Albuquerque. The studio casita, Celestial, 660 sq ft, is spacious and bright, and has north-facing windows for light, in addition to the skylight and west-facing door and bathroom. It has a sleeping loft with a south-facing window, in addition to the ground floor with a sitting room, dining area, and sleeping area.
