Fieldglass

We are implementing the Fieldglass contingent worker module that will provide a centralized system for LANL to manage the staff augmentation (contingent labor) workforce.

Fieldglass is a Vendor Management System (VMS) that automates the contingent worker purchasing process, from the creation of the job requisition, interview and screening process, applicant selection, expense and time keeping, invoicing, and reporting. The system is web-based and can be accessed from any computer.

What's Changing

We are implementing the Fieldglass contingent worker module that will provide a centralized system for LANL to manage the staff augmentation (contingent labor) workforce. After rollout, all procuring, time tracking, expense reporting, and invoicing for contingent workers will be processed in the new Fieldglass system. For suppliers that already use Fieldglass at LANL we hope that the change is seamless.

LANL selected the strategic workforce partner, AgileOne, to serve as the Managed Service Provider (MSP). AgileOne has a LANL dedicated team to administer the staff augmentation program at the laboratory.

Benefits

  • Single-point-of-contact for suppliers for any contract worker need
  • A standardized and responsive process for acquisition and deployment of contingent labor resources
  • Improved financial control and reporting
  • A flexible solution that is scalable with ever-changing business requirements

Moving to Fieldglass (Contingent Labor)

As of Dec. 7, 2020, the new LANL Fieldglass system and AgileOne Management Service Provider (MSP) program was rolled out. Three pilot suppliers will use the new systems at this time. After the full rollout (targeted for the spring of 2021), all staff augmentation program suppliers and LANL hiring managers will use LANL’s Fieldglass system for contingent labor job postings, time sheets and expense submittals and invoicing.
