ICEM CFD Engineering, a subsidiary of ANSYS Inc., specializes in pre and post processing for CAE applications. They are also the distributors for Attila, a general-purpose deterministic transport solver that is newly available to the public through collaboration with Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL). Attila incorporates the highly automated, CAD integrated processing tools in ICEM CFD along with a robust solver capable of handling fully unstructured, body fitted grids. Attila provides transport solutions for neutrons, gamma radiation and charged particles, and is well suited for shielding, criticality, nuclear reactor analyses, oil-well logging, medical physics and other applications.
