Active Employees 2009 Open Enrollment
The dates for open enrollment 2009 are November 3 - 21, 2008.
REMINDER:
Re-enrollment in a Flexible Spending Account Plan (HCRA and/or DCRA) requires your active election of a new tax deferred amount. You must select a new deferral for 2009 or you will have no FSA Benefit for the new plan year!
Rates for 2009 Plan Year
- No Increase in monthly Medical Premiums for 2009 Plan Year
- For most employees, significant reduction in rates for Supplemental Life and Supplemental Disability coverage, Dental and Vision remain free of charge on a monthly basis
What's New for 2009 Plan Year
- New option for Supplemental Life Insurance - 5 x Salary now an option
- Employees in any level of Supplemental Life may increase one level during Open Enrollment, without Proof of Insurability requirement
Note: you may increase existing Supplemental Life coverage, but a new enrollment requires a Statement of Health
- An increase to your Supplemental Life may increase your Dependent Life coverage, and require a Statement of Health from your dependent
- New carrier for Life and Disability Plans - The Hartford
- No change in benefit provided, but lower costs and substantial service improvement
- New option for Supplemental Life Insurance - 5 x Salary now an option
- Employees in any level of Supplemental Life may increase one level during Open Enrollment, without Proof of Insurability requirement
- An increase to your Supplemental Life may increase your Dependent Life coverage, and require a Statement of Health from your dependent
