Reasonable Suspicion
Drug and/or alcohol testing may also be required if:
- Your manager/supervisor reasonably suspects that you may have been drinking or using drugs. (Indications include odor of alcohol, slurred speech, unsteady gait.)
- You are the subject of a drug detection dog alert and/or possess property that has caused a drug detection dog alert.
- Your manager/supervisor observes chronic problems commonly associated with substance abuse, such as tardiness, unexplained chronic tiredness, or patterns of absence.
