Photo of Brian Kiedrowski

Brian Kiedrowski — Co-Chair

Brian Kiedrowski is currently a PhD student in Nuclear Engineering and Engineering Physics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He currently works in the Applied Physics Division developing computer simulation tools for modeling radiation moving through matter. Brian enjoys hiking, cliff jumping, and other outdoor activities.

Alexander Arn — Co-Chair

Alexander Arn graduated from New Mexico State University in 2006 with a BBA in Finance and a minor in Security Technology & Intelligence Studies. He has been working for LANL since graduation as a GRA in CFO-2, providing budget support for the Operations Support Division. He finished his Master of Business Administration in Summer 2009 from NMSU.

Thomas Ott — Vice Chair

Thomas Ott graduated from Boston College with a B.S. in Physics. He is a Post-Baccalaureate student working in the Material Science division on quasicrystal growth and other ternary melts in magnetic field. He hopes to pursue a PhD in Condensed Matter physics at the conclusion of his appointment at the lab. Tom enjoys skiing, hiking, rock climbing, soccer and various other athletic activities.

Kalina Jordanova — Secretary

Kalina Jordanova graduated with a B.S. in Applied and Engineering Physics from Cornell University. She is currently working at LANL in the Earth and Environmental Sciences Division as a Post-Baccalaureate student, where she studies trace gases in the atmosphere. Outside of work, Kalina enjoys spending time climbing the New Mexico cliffs.

Elizabeth Meek — Treasurer

Elizabeth Meek graduated from University of Washington with a bachelor's in geology and will graduate with a master's from Georgetown University in Health Physics in December 2009. She works in Safeguards and Security Systems researching disarmament verification technologies to support evolving international policy and treaty environments. Elizabeth enjoys hiking, climbing, camping, and yoga.
