Outstanding Innovation Technology Transfer Awards

(Formerly Patent and Licensing Awards)

Since 1998, the Laboratory has held an annual Patent and Licensing Awards reception to honor employees who have received patents and royalty income from patented and copyrighted work during the past year. In 2007, we expanded this event to include additional Distinguished Award recognition for employees who demonstrated an exemplary effort to participate in technology transfer activities in addition to patenting, copyrighting, or licensing their technologies. TT cosponsors this event with the Laboratory Counsel's Intellectual Property Office (LC-IP).

The program book for each event includes the patent abstracts for the patents awarded during the previous calendar year, a list of royalty recipients, and a description of the award-winning technologies.
