Co-ed Flag Football
There is a co-ed flag football league that the Los Alamos County Rec Division is putting together starting in September. Teams are currently forming.  If interested, email Kim at ktait@lanl.gov or Mehgan at Los Alamos County Recreation Department at heapsm@lac.losalamos.nm.us .  See the LA County flyer for more information.


Co-ed Softball
A co-ed softball league will be starting the week of July 30th at Overlook Park. A few teams are still looking for players. Please email Kim at ktait@lanl.gov if you are interested.


Soccer
Los Alamos is a vibrant soccer town. The Los Alamos Soccer Team (L.A.S.T) is always looking for new members. L.A.S.T plays pickup games and tournaments in Los Alamos, Santa Fe and Albuquerque against other recreational teams. Prior soccer experience (high school, club etc.) is required. Table Tennis anyone????
The Table Tennis Association in Los Alamos plays table tennis every Tuesday from 7:30 to 10:00 pm at Los Alamos Golf Course building, 4250 Diamond Dr. Everyone can find an appropriate level opponent for training and games.
Come and find out whether you are more of a ping-pong player than a scientist! See you there!

Los Alamos Young Democrats
The Los Alamos Young Democrats invite all interested persons 35 or younger to join us in debating timely political issues, writing letters to our representatives, encouraging the political participation of young people, helping with local campaigns, and creating the Democratic Party of the future. Los Alamos Women in Science (LAWIS)
We would like to extend an invitation to join Los Alamos Women in Science (LAWIS), the local chapter of the New Mexico Network for Women in Science and Engineering (NMWSE). Our organization is open to any person interested in science and engineering (including math and computer science) and in encouraging women to pursue academic and professional careers in these fields. It is not necessary to have a degree, and employment at Los Alamos National Laboratory is not required for membership. Bridge Club
Games are scheduled Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. - sessions last for about three hours and are held at the Los Alamos Senior Center (next to Mesa Library, near Fuller Lodge). Homestyle games are held on Thursdays ($2.00 entry) and Duplicate games are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays ($3.00 entry). All games are non-smoking. Some lights refreshments are available. We also have a stand-by partner available for you for the Duplicate games, so you may just walk in a few minutes before 7:00 p.m. for the game.
