Biography: Allan Marcus

Allan Marcus holds a B.S. in Political Economy from the University of California, Berkeley and an M.B.A. form California State University, San Jose. Since 1984 Mr. Marcus has worked as a database professional in both private industry and at the Los Alamos National Laboratory. Mr. Marcus spent five years developing tracking and reporting software for Apple Computer, Inc.'s R&D division in Cupertino, CA, and has developed numerous database and Web applications at the Los Alamos National Laboratory. Recently Mr. Marcus made the switch from Application Developer to System Administrator and splits his time between Red Hat Linux and Mac OS X server administration.
