Progress in Calculating Nucleon Structure in Lattice QCD

I will report a reent alculation of nucleon form factors charge radius and axial charge performed in QCD with twice the physical pion mass, as well as preliminary results closer to the physical pion mass. In the same calculation we obtain values for the nucleon momentumfraction carried by quarks, quark spin and orbital angular momentum(QAM) contributionto the nucleon spin. The quark QAM is a particularly interesting observable exhibiting quarks motion in the nucleon, and it is hard to measure in experiments, making lattice QCD a necessary tool of nuclear physics. The origin of the nucleon spin is a central focus of contemporary nuclear physics experiments at JLab, RHIC spin, and a future electron-ion collider.
