Ricardo received his Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in Theoretical and Applied Mechanics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He also received an M.S. degree in Thermal Engineering from the University of Antioquia at Medellin (Colombia) in 2004.
He received his B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Colombia at Medellin in 2000.
Ricardo's research interests lie in shock-driven fluid instabilities, turbulent boundary layers, free shear flows of non-Newtonian fluids, forced convection through porous media, and wind energy. |
