Sediment Control: Weirs
Los Alamos Canyon Weir
Los Alamos and Pueblo Canyons have a series of defenses-in-depth to keep stormwater on-site. Los Alamos Canyon weir slows the flow of stormwater so contaminants settle to the bottom, allowing clearer water to flow to the Rio Grande.
