Clean Laboratory and Mass Spectrometry Facility

Facility Description

This facility excels in the measurement of ultra-low levels of isotopes, inorganic elements, and noble gases in a variety of materials. In addition, the facility is staffed by scientists and technicians with unique expertise in low-level measurements.

Equipment

• 10,000 square feet of clean-room laboratories
• high-purity reagents and isotopic spikes
• seven thermal-ionization mass spectrometers
• two gas mass spectrometers
