Santa Fe is nestled at the base of the Sangre
de Christos mountains in Northern New Mexico. Within a one hour
drive from the city you can ski, rafting, hot air ballooning,
visit indian pueblos and ruins and see one of the last battlefields
of the Civil War.
Because the city is at 7,000 feet the weather
is rarely very hot or very cold. The late summer is our monsoon
season with spectacular thunderstorms almost every afternoon. They
rarely last more than half an hour - just enough time for a coffee,
margarita or cider.
