Here's a bullet from the new mandatory training (EMS Awareness Training) for all Lab employees.

* Are wastes going to the landfills that could be recycled?

By all means, let's be sure our wastes are going to landfills that can be recycled! Or does this mean that we should send our wastes to landfills that can't be recycled? How do you recycle an entire landfill? By turning it into a theme park? Wasteland? Three Warning Flags over Waste?

Roger Johnston wrote to the Reader's Forum recently about the time employees spend reading mandatory training sites that haven't been tested.Would it really be that much trouble to have training sites read and corrected by a knowledgeable editor? If training is important, it should be professionally produced.
