Road closureAs a commuter from White Rock, I am frequently frustrated by road closures on Pajarito Road. I have three questions related to this issue?
1. Since Pajarito Road is not longer a "public" highway, but a restricted access route, is it really necessary to close it down when radioactive material is being moved?
2. If it is necessary to close Pajarito Road, why not post the times and condition of road closure on the electronic signs at Pajarito Road and NM 4, and at Pajarito Road and Diamond Drive?
3. Alternatively, why not have the guards alert cars entering Pajarito Road that it is temporarily closed? (I have recently been informed by the guard that the road was open, only to find it was in fact closed. The guard apparently didn't get the word.)
Thank you for responding to these questions. I believe a number of other folks have the same concerns.
