More on UHC and physical therapy sessions

I totally agree that the United Healthcare health plan should include more physical therapy sessions than 20. Last year I tore my rotator cuff (2-inch tear) and some ligaments. I began physical therapy immediately after my surgery. I had the surgery on Aug. 18 and was released from the doctor on Dec. 19. I attended physical therapy three times a week for most of that period, two times a week last month. I worked extremely hard at home doing all my exercises in order to make a full recovery. This resulted in more than 20 sessions. Thank goodness I did not have UHC at that time. My plan covered all the sessions. I am in agreement that the UHC plan of 20 sessions is usually not enough for serious injuries or surgery. Physical therapy is the road to full recovery. This certainly needs to be reviewed.
