Lack of Readers Forum letters

Did I miss an announcement that the Daily Newsbulletin would be closed for a period of time? With all that's gone on recently, I can't believe there is no one out there who has an opinion they want to express. It saddens me if the lack of Reader's Forum letters is due to fear that someone might say the wrong thing.

One of the things that always got a smile from me as I walked back and forth to meetings was a metal sign on an office door that read (not the exact words):

"Caution: This sign has sharp edges. Please do not touch the edges of this sign" (and in very small letters at the bottom of the sign) "Oh, and the bridge is out."

The sign has been taken down. I hope we get our sense of humor back as well as the ability to do our classified work.
