Redesigned Daily Newsbulletin to debut Monday

Since the Daily Newsbulletin was launched in September 1996, it has served as a timely source for a variety of Laboratory news and information for the work force.

On Monday, a redesigned Daily Newsbulletin will update the look and allow for the introduction of some additional features, including the recently launched "Director's Notebook," which publishes Mondays, except when Monday is a Laboratory holiday, and includes information, sound bites and employee recognitions from Laboratory Director Pete Nanos and other senior managers.

The redesigned Daily Newsbulletin will continue to offer readers many of the features they've come to expect, such as a calendar of events around the Lab; the Bulletin Board; safety tips; news from the Research Library (STB-RL); links to other Public Affairs communications products; links to the University of California and Department of Energy/National Nuclear Security Administration Web pages; and of course, the ever-popular Reader's Forum, a format through which employees can share their views on Lab-related policies and issues and engage in constructive dialogue.

The Public Affairs Office will continue making improvements to the Daily Newsbulletin in an ongoing effort to bring employees news and information they can use.

The Laboratory's Institutional Web team in the Information Management (IM) Division, sponsored by the Chief Information Officer (CIO), collaborated with Public Affairs in the new design of the Daily Newsbulletin.
