Wednesday, March 23, 2005 Public meetings today on energy compensation act programThe federal Labor Department is hosting three public meetings this week in Española and Santa Fe regarding the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act. The meetings are today and Thursday, said Karen Martinez of the Espanola Resource Center, which is hosting the meetings. Meeting times are 2 and 6 p.m., today, at Northern New Mexico Community College, 921 Paseo de Onate in Española; and 6 p.m., Thursday, at the Radisson Hotel, 720 N. St. Francis Drive, in Santa Fe.
