Friday, March 11, 2005 Notebook highlights 'human core' of safetyAll Laboratory employees can contribute to a safe work environment by being vigilant about safety. That's the "human core" of safety. This issue of the Director's Notebook also highlights the recent signing of a memorandum of understanding between Los Alamos and the University of New Mexico establishing the New Mexico Center for Isotopes in Medicine, and Nanos gives a "thumbs up" to a Nuclear Materials Technology (NMT) Division employee for designing and fabricating vacuum systems. The Director's Notebook publishes on Mondays, except when Monday is a Laboratory holiday. Previous issues are available in an archive as a link from the Daily Newsbulletin.
