Storm brings more moisture, delays Lab opening

A blanket of white covers the area near Technical Area 66 as shown in this photo looking east toward White Rock after a slow moving storm dropped snow overnight. The storm dropped 3.6 inches of snow, prompting the Laboratory to delay opening on Thursday. Los Alamos schools also opened at 10 a.m. The National Weather Service forecasts a continued chance of snow showers today and through the weekend in Los Alamos and the area. Photo by LeRoy N.
