Winter moon

Snow-laden trees frame a setting moon in this photo looking west toward the Jemez Mountains from downtown Los Alamos last Friday morning. A storm dropped several inches of snow in Los Alamos, creating a blanket of white. The National Weather Service is forecasting a chance of snow showers today and this evening. Photo by LeRoy N. Sanchez, Public Affairs
