Nanos updates work force in talk Jan. 19Laboratory Director G. Peter Nanos will update the Laboratory work force on several matters during an all-employee talk Jan. 19 in the Administration Building Auditorium at Technical Area 3. The talk is from 10 a.m. to noon. Laboratory workers who have L and Q clearances can attend the talk in the auditorium. Lab workers who can't access the auditorium can watch the talk live on LABNET Channel 9 and on desktop computers using Real Media Stream and IPTV technology. At the talk, Nanos will update the work force on the Laboratory's resumption of operations status and also discuss 2005 fiscal year priorities for the Laboratory. Those priorities have been developed by Nanos and senior managers based on input from Executive Board retreats and meetings with Lab managers. At this meeting, Laboratory workers who are watching on LABNET or desktop computers also will be able to call in questions to Nanos at 7-0406. The questions will be read live on the air. Nanos plans to deliver his annual State of the Laboratory address to the work force at a date to be announced.
