Wednesday, January 12, 2005 Nominations being accepted for postdoc distinguished performance awardsThe Laboratory is accepting nominations for Postdoctoral Distinguished Performance awards for the 2004 fiscal year. The awards recognize individual postdoctoral researchers or teams of no more than three postdoctoral researchers who have made an outstanding and unique contribution resulting in a positive and significant impact on the Laboratory's programmatic/organizational efforts or status in the scientific community. Nominations are for distinguished performance during the 2004 fiscal year, which ended Sept. 30, 2004. However, there can be overlap for work that began in fiscal year 2003 and was completed in fiscal year 2004. An all-employee memo details eligibility and nomination requirements, as well as guidelines for submitting a nomination. Nomination packages must be submitted to the Postdoctoral Program Office located in Room 123 of the Canyon School Complex. The deadline to submit a nomination is 5 p.m., Jan. 27.
