Thursday, December 16, 2004 Lab workers reminded about procedures at Nevada Test SiteLaboratory workers must follow specified procedures when visiting the Nevada Test Site. The procedures help ensure that work is performed in a safe, secure and professional manner, according to Sue Seestrom, associate director for weapons physics (ADWP). Seestrom said in a master management memo that employees planning to visit the Nevada Test Site must familiarize themselves with the information and requirements found in Laboratory LIR300-00-10,NTS Visitor Control, and OST-NTS-MAN-001, NTS Operations Manual. "Requirements specified in [the Laboratory's Nevada Test Site] procedures, such as work control, electrical safety, occurrence reporting and other related safeguards, and security and environment, safety and health areas must also be followed by all Laboratory personnel visiting or conducting activities at the NTS. These procedures can be found on the [Laboratory's] Policy Page under "Offisite Work," said Seestrom.
