Baker: Space is not a quiet place
"I don't want to sound like Chicken Little," said Daniel Baker, "but it's important to recognize that the space environment is not a benign one." Baker, director of the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics at the University of Colorado, described various solar events that affect human technology and environments at a Director's Colloquium last week at Los Alamos.
