ARAMARK cafeterias serving special holiday meal Thursday

ARAMARK Corp. is serving a special holiday meal Thursday in the Otowi Building cafeteria at Technical Area 3 and cafeterias at TA-55 and the Los Alamos Neutron Science Center (LANSCE) at TA-53.

For $7.99 plus tax, Laboratory workers can choose from either prime rib or honey pecan chicken; two sides from a choice of broccoli with hollandaise sauce, carmelized carrots or garden vegetable rice; and a dinner roll. The price also includes any size fountain drink.

Employees who purchase the full holiday meal will receive a ticket and be automatically entered into a drawing for an Apple iPod MP3 player. The winning ticket for the iPod will be drawn and the name posted on ARAMARK's Web page on Friday (Dec. 10).

The self-service salad bar will be open, as will the pre-packaged salad and sandwiches area. Lab personnel also can purchase individual items from the special holiday meal if they don't want to purchase the entire meal, but they won't be eligible for the drawing for the iPod.

The cafeterias are open for lunch from 11 a.m. to 1:45 p.m.

ARAMARK's Cruisin' Cuisine vending trucks also will serve a limited holiday meal on Thursday consisting of honey pecan chicken, garden vegetable rice and carmelized carrots for $6. The price includes tax.
