"Crazy Theory" T-shirts on sale Thursday at Otowi Building

Fund raiser for Lab's United Way campaign

Dan Pava of Ecology (ENV-ECO) wears one of the black long-sleeve T-shirts available for purchase Thursday at the Otowi Building at Technical Area 3. The T-shirts sport the Laboratory logo on the front and a catchy quote from Manhattan Era scientist Niels Bohr on the back: "We all agree that your theory is crazy, but is it crazy enough?" ENV-ECO is selling the shirts to raise money for this year's United Way giving campaign. A suggested donation of $15 is being asked for the shirts and can be purchased between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Checks should be made out to United Way; only 250 are available. As of Tuesday, about $509,000 has been raised in pledges and donations in this year's campaign, which ends Nov. 24. For more information, contact Pava at 7-7360 or dpava@lanl.gov by electronic mail.
