Ten CREM libraries at Lab now approved

Ten of the planned 19 CREM libraries have been approved for operation at the Laboratory. The Department of Energy deputy secretary must give the final approval for operation of the CREM libraries.

The Lab will have 19 CREM libraries and 14 satellite libraries. One more library is ready for Laboratory - Los Alamos Site Office verification, and certification by Laboratory Director G. Peter Nanos before final approval.

To see a step-by-step approval schedule of the libraries and which Lab divisions have been approved to operate their CREM libraries, go to the CREM libraries link on the COMPASS Web site.

The CREM libraries table is updated daily and shows an estimated date of approval for each remaining library. The site's FAQs also has a section on the CREM libraries. The COMPASS Web site is located at http://int.lanl.gov/restart/ online.
