Fall Fiesta raises funds for Lab's '05 United Way campaign
|

Leo Jaramillo of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Division, aka Gene
Simmons or Rick James, dances to music of the Nomads at last Friday's United
Way Fall Fiesta. Jaramillo was one of the event organizers, which raised
$6,000 for the Laboratory's United Way giving campaign. Through last Friday,
more than $222,400 has been raised in pledges or donations in this year's
campaign. |
| Tracy Gonzales, left, and Andrea Romero, both of Weapons Budget (CFO-3),
went back to the '60s at last Friday's Fall Fiesta for the United Way. The
two were making candy apples to raise funds for the Lab's United Way campaign,
which continues through Nov. 12. |

John Tapia of Property Management (SUP-2) waits for his next drop into
the dunk tank at last Friday's United Way Fall Fiesta to raise funds for
the Laboratory's United Way giving campaign. Lab personnel could pay $1
for three chances to dunk a Lab manager, all for a good cause. The 2005
United Way campaign, "Making One Small Difference After Another,"
continues through Nov. 12. |

SM-30 Warehouse at Technical Area 3. Other scheduled United Way events are
planned across the Lab. For more information about this year's giving campaign
and upcoming events, go to the Community
