Quarterly public poster session on groundwater is Oct. 25

A quarterly public poster session sponsored by the Laboratory's Groundwater Protection Program (RRES-GP) is scheduled from 5 to 7:30 p.m., Oct. 25. The session is at the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel, located at 3347 Cerrillos Road in Santa Fe.

The poster session will inform the public about what has been learned about groundwater beneath and surrounding the Laboratory. The Laboratory has, through seven years of hydrogeologic data collection and analysis, developed a better understanding of the geology, hydrology and geochemistry of the Pajarito Plateau. The posters will provide basic information on geology, hydrology, geochemistry, regulatory context and drilling.

Poster authors will be present to answer questions and discuss findings.
