Bingaman learns about Math and Science Academy

Laboratory program improving education in Northern New Mexico

U.S. Sen. Jeff Bingaman, D-N.M., greets seventh-grade student Jacob Serrano, during a recent visit to Española Middle School. Bingaman came to the school to learn about the Laboratory's Math and Science Academy, which is in place in five school districts this school year. Bingaman is scheduled to deliver a "State of the Laboratory" address to the work force at 10:45 Thursday morning in the Administration Building Auditorium at Technical Area 3.
