New Actinide Research Quarterly is onlineThe latest issue of Actinide Research Quarterly is now online. The issue is the first of two devoted to actinide oxides, and is a distillation of a series of talks given earlier this year at a Seaborg Institute workshop. Articles include a discussion of 50 years of research into plutonium dioxide, an interpretation of plutonium dioxide that proposes a hydroxide ion rather than a central oxide ion in the structure, and how researchers use different spectroscopy methods to probe structure and surface chemistry of plutonium oxides.
