New Actinide Research Quarterly is online

The latest issue of Actinide Research Quarterly is now online. The issue is the first of two devoted to actinide oxides, and is a distillation of a series of talks given earlier this year at a Seaborg Institute workshop.

Articles include a discussion of 50 years of research into plutonium dioxide, an interpretation of plutonium dioxide that proposes a hydroxide ion rather than a central oxide ion in the structure, and how researchers use different spectroscopy methods to probe structure and surface chemistry of plutonium oxides.

To read the Actinide Research Quarterly, go to http://www.lanl.gov/arq/ online (Adobe Acrobat Reader required).
