Jones talk Wednesday to focus on safety culture

As part of the suspension of operations and the Laboratory's effort to resume normal work activities, a mandatory all-employee meeting on Wednesday will focus on safety culture. Malcolm Jones of the Atomic Weapons Establishment in the United Kingdom will give the talk at 1:30 p.m., in the Administration Building Auditorium at Technical Area 3.

The mandatory talk will be followed by a question and answer session. The talk will be broadcast live on LABNET Channel 9 and on desktop computers using Real Media or IPTV technology. It also can be viewed in the Physics Building Auditorium, the second floor of the J. Robert Oppenheimer Study Center and the Nicholas Metropolis Center for Modeling and Simulation, all at TA-3.

Jones is a scientific adviser for the Atomic Weapons Establishment. The title of the talk is "Aspects of Safety Culture and High Consequence Accident/Failures Theories."
