Nanos memo discusses risk-level one work
Laboratory Director G. Peter Nanos said Laboratory workers doing risk-level one work can resume normal work operations to the greatest extent possible. But he also reminded the work force in a all-employee memo that they must resume work in a safe, secure fashion in compliance with all Lab policies and procedures.

Nonconforming valves used at some DOE sites
The Department of Justice issued a press release indicating that an employee of Hunt Valve Co. Inc., in Salem, Ohio, has been charged with conspiracy and fraud in connection with providing nonconforming valves and materially false certifications. The valves provided by Hunt Valve Co. Inc., are used in containers that transport and store radioactive materials (including uranium hexafluoride).
