Nonconforming valves used at some DOE sites

The Department of Justice issued a press release indicating that an employee of Hunt Valve Co. Inc., in Salem, Ohio, has been charged with conspiracy and fraud in connection with providing nonconforming valves and materially false certifications. The valves provided by Hunt Valve Co. Inc., are used in containers that transport and store radioactive materials (including uranium hexafluoride). Full story...
