Students use tools to unravel mysteries at science museum

Daniel Christensen, left, Bethany Haines and Emily Sewell, right, observe Bradbury Science Museum science educator Bettie Bedell using crime scene investigation techniques, such as the use of latex gloves to avoid contaminating evidence when collecting crime scene samples. The museum sponsored the forensics classes Tuesday and Wednesday for fifth and sixth grade students as part of the museum's summer activities. Students acted as crime lab or forensic scientists using science to help solve a crime.
