Quarterly public poster session is July 13

A quarterly public poster session sponsored by the Lab's Groundwater Protection Program (RRES-GP) is scheduled for 4 to 7:30 p.m., July 13. The session is at Fuller Lodge, located at 2132 Central Ave. in Los Alamos.

The poster session will inform the public about what has been learned about groundwater beneath and surrounding the Laboratory. The Laboratory has, through seven years of hydrogeologic data collection and analysis, developed a better understanding of the geology, hydrology and geochemistry of the Pajarito Plateau. The posters will provide basic information on geology, hydrology, geochemistry, regulatory context and drilling.

Poster authors will be present to answer questions and discuss findings.

For comments or questions, contact Carmen Rodriguez of Environmental Characterization and Remediation (RRES-ECR) at 5-6770 or carmenr@lanl.gov by electronic mail, or Kelly Bitner at (505) 884-8455 or bitner@neptuneinc.org by electronic mail.
