Hunker talks focuses on cyber security

Carnegie Mellon University professor Jeffrey Hunker talked about cyber security and a national strategy for critical infrastructure security at a Director's Colloquium Tuesday in the Physics Building Auditorium at Technical Area 3. Hunker was senior director for critical infrastructure protection at the National Security Council in the Clinton administration. He was responsible for developing the first comprehensive national strategies for cyber protection.
Doug Post of Plasma Physics (P-24) asks Hunker about the security issues and tradeoffs between open software and proprietary software during Tuesday's question and answer session following Hunker's talk.
