Latest issue of ARQ onlineHeavy-element chemistry at Los Alamos is the topic of the latest issue of "Actinide Research Quarterly" now online. Articles in this issue include discussions of the fluorescence of actinic transitions; f elements; density functional theory; unusual coordination in heptavalent neptunium; x-ray absorption fine structure spectroscopy; structural characterization; and room-temperature ionic liquids. Actinide Research Quarterly is published by the Nuclear Materials Technology (NMT) Division.
